Set this up in my wine cellar (no, really, in the cellar). It made the existing wine cellar area look amazingly better. Easy to assemble and as sturdy as you would expect for this kind of product at this kind of price. I will buy another if my cellar should expand further.

I would not trust the #8 screws for the plastic anchors (supplied) for drywall or concrete. Use 1" #10s for a secure hold. In drywall, mollies or toggle bolts would be best. (that's a lot of valuable wine up there!)

As others have noted, the means of attachement and overall design requires modification both to attach to the wall and to ensure that wine bottles sit securely. An hour to produce the proper wood shims and attachment fixtures result in a reasonably priced and workable cellar rack for wine storage.

[...] I chose to modify the wooden seperators by drilling holes with counter sink for 1 & 1/2 inch screws to lock the wooden seperators in place. The end result is a more secure bracing. Total modification and assembly time took about 1 & 1/2 hours for each Wine Rack.Medal seperators designed to interlock on the racks in order to provide both spacing and rigiddity would be a nice improvement.

Wine rack was as appears in picture, however it did not say that one needed a flat wall to affix. I had to construct a wall to make it work. Would have been a good thing to hint at.

Wine rack it as it appeared, however there was no mention that it needed to be affixed to a flat straight wall. I am using it in my basement/wine cellar which has banked walls. Now I have to construct a wall.[...]

[...]It should have said in the promo that the wine rack NEEDS a flat wall to affix rack to. I have a wine basement with sloping walls. I now have to design a flat back somehow that will affix to wall.

Terrific product for exactly what I wanted it for -- very clear and specific use in the wine cellar -- the directions are okay -- not perfect -- but it isn't brain surgery to figure out -- i had to modify the racks to get them secured to a field stone wall in the wine cellar -- but they look great and i'm happy with the result -- a lot cheaper than a professional custom installation! now more money to spend on wine!!
